Daylight hours Sat. & Sun., except between Memorial Day to Labor Day, then allowed Sat. until noon, Sun.-no travel
Travel prohibited on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas (from 2pm on last business day preceding observed holiday until ½ hour before sunrise of 1st business day following observed holiday) & from noon Wed. before Thanksgiving to ½ hour before sunrise on the Mon. following

Requirements for Pilot/Escort Vehicle
General: A passenger car, pickup, truck, or truck tactor of legal size & weight
Signs: “OVERSIZE LOAD” sign (5’ x 10”) w/ black letters (8” high x 1” brush stroke) on yellow background
Lights: 2 amber flashing  lights (as widely spaced laterally as practical) w/ 4” lens diameter min. (35 candlepower rating min./30 flashes/min.) or revolving light (w/ minimum of 125 sq. in. of dome surface/emitting 30 flashes/min.) or  strobe light(s) w/ 360 degree visibility mounted above roof (visible 500’)
Flags: 2 hand-held red flags 18” square mounted on 3’ long staffs
Additional equipment: 2-way radio; 8 safety flares or reflectors
